About Maria

Hello, my name is Gaby, and I am an 18-year-old bilingual babysitter with CPR certification. I have over a year of experience teaching children ages 2-11 at my church, where I create engaging, age-appropriate lessons focused on fostering, creativity, and a love for learning in a safe and nurturing environment. My work is inspired by child-centered approaches like the Montessori method, encouraging children to explore and learn through hands-on activities tailored to their developmental stage. Additionally, I volunteer with Give Kids The World, a nonprofit organization supporting wish children and their families, which has enriched my ability to connect with children of diverse needs and backgrounds. I also have experience working with animals, including cats and advanced-handler dogs, through my volunteer work at the Orange County Animal Shelter.
