About Maria

I'd describe my personality as warm, friendly and outgoing I like caring for seniors because it brings me a lot of joy to to help them. I have always had a warm spot for the elderly. I'm looking for a job that will help an elderly person(s) either in their home or a facility I started caring for seniors in 2019 working at an assisted living facility. I do not have the medical background but I do have life experience. I got exposure working elderly dementia. In 2021 I took a private caregiver job for 2 elderly sisters who had onset dementia that worsened over the 3 years I was with them. I have learned so much working with them In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends and family, hike, bike, kayak, cook. One thing you should know about me is I am a very loving caring person and easy to get along with. My skills include helping with every day tasks such as showering, teeth brushing, getting meals ready, cleaning and doing laundry, shopping and doctor appointments.
