I interviewed Maria last week for an urgent position caring for our 3 month old son. She was on time for the interview and very nice. After the interview I offered her the job and requested her email to send the contract to. She provided her email and said she would like to start Nov. 2nd. I spent a great deal of time translating the contract into Spanish and texted her once it was sent. I didn't receive a reply. I asked her then confirm that she received the contract and again, no reply. The next morning I still had heard nothing. I finally texted her again to see if everything was OK and she replied saying sorry she decided to go back to work for another lady who lives closer to her house. This was very poor communication and I was disappointed in her professionalism handling this situation. I wouldn't trust her level of commitment if a better opportunity arises.
