Maria was incredible. From the first conversation, she was professional, punctual, and so very kind. We hired her to assist with our mom, a cancer patient dealing with mobility issues. What we didn't know at the time was that our mom only had 2 weeks remaining, but Maria was there with us every step of the way. She showed up on time (early) each shift, took initiative, was kind and caring with our mom, and took the lead on caretaking responsibilities. She was understanding of our cultural and religious preferences, was flexible with location changes, and navigated challenging family members with utmost grace and compassion. She was with us at the very end as we watched our mom take her last breaths and provided such a calming aura that was otherwise missing. While we worked with Maria for a far shorter time than we had planned or expected, these two weeks showed us everything we needed to know about how she approaches her work. She is an incredible caretaker and we couldn't be more happy that we worked with her. Highly recommend!
