About Maria

Never imagining a career in any other field than education, I worked hard and earned my Bachelors of Arts in English Education from New York University and my Masters of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Queens College, City University of New York. Since 1996, I have been working with children and adolescents, helping them develop their love for literature; strengthening the manners in which they communicate, be it orally or with the written form; inspiring and supporting them as they pursue post-secondary education and maintaining close communication and even friendships as they ventured off into the world of work. I love my students. I love what I do. I love language and literature and would love to help you and your family strengthen your skills in Language Arts and/or Test Preparation.
