I like working with kids because as much as we, as adults teach children lessons, they also teach us a lot too! Children offer adults a lot more advice on life than you could possibly imagine. They are a constant reminder to enjoying life's simple pleasures, that it's good to be curious and take risks, to have fun and be different, and to not worry about what others think, among many many others. Furthermore, they are constant reminders of how great a simple and judgment-free life can truly be. I started working with kids when I was 15 as a Junior Counselor here on Cape Cod and I still work there every summer. I also work as a teacher at an after school program.
