I've had a lifelong love for animals, starting with owning pets throughout my childhood until the age of 12. While I haven't had pets of my own since then, I've gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages for family and friends. From small breeds like dachshunds to larger ones like pitbulls and Rottweilers, I've cared for a variety of personalities and needs. I'm familiar with the energy and attention required for puppies and young dogs, providing plenty of physical activity and stimulation. Recently, I cared for an elderly dog who needed daily medication and extra safety precautions around stairs due to mobility challenges. I own a home with a large backyard on a half acre, perfect for dogs to explore and play.
