I am an author of two Children's books, warm, loving and a trustworthy lady with a passion for children and willing to respect plus execute the style of parenting you feel best suits your family . I am looking to work with a family as a nanny/babysitter Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with flexibility in days and hours to stay late or be there earlier than 9 a.m. I am Infant CPR and First Aid certified. I have also done training in health and safety, understanding children, infant safety, challenging behavior management among others. I have taken responsibilities such as reading, exploring outdoors, tracing, arts and crafts, engaging the children in active play as well as educative play. Reading and respecting children in my care as well as helping them have and maintain a routine.

Mariam is kind, supportive, and nurturing to the children and to us. She is a true partner in raising our sons. We always ask her opinion and value her knowledge when making decisions about our kids. Mariam is always teaching, whether it is counting as they push their legs against her, or pointing out birds and flowers on their walks, she is always engaged. She cheers their successes and helps pick them up and learn from failures. She gently but firmly shaped how my oldest communicates, teaching him politeness, the importance of his and others personal space, and how to ask questions to learn more. People regularly compliment us on his polite inquisitive mind. COVID sadly changed our finances. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to let Mariam go. While she will no longer be working for us, Mariam has forever changed our lives and will always be part of our family. We love her completely. I am a better parent for having her help raise my sons, and for that I am forever grateful
