About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria. I have over 8 years of experience working with children. From nannying, TV producer for educational television programs for children in Brazil, volunteering with teenagers in the Middle East and more recently as a Patient Navigator in the Pediatric of BMC. I've gained a lot of knowledge about working with children. I truly enjoy playing and interacting with them. For me working with children is more than just watching and feeding them. It's spending time with them and helping them grow and develop. I am experienced with all ages of children, with babies and toddlers; diaper changing, bottle feeding, reading to and engaging with them, encouraging and practicing crawling, walking, potty training, etc. As well as with school-aged children; taking them to school and activities, preparing their meals, reading, playing and having fun with arts and crafts, encouraging learning and independence and enforcing routine.
