About Maria Luisa

Hello! My name is Maria and I am a warm, energetic, and nurturing caretaker. I started working with kids when I was 22 as a full-time nanny in California. Due to my passion working with kids I studied Early Childhood Education at Cabrillo College in California, receiving 24 credit units. I have professional experience working as a teacher in the Head Start program, in private daycare centers, and as a private nanny. I developed further experience thanks to raising my two kids who are now in college. I am happy to provide references from Northern Virginia if needed. I like working with kids because I understand their needs and it makes me happy to lovingly support their growth. I enjoy engaging in age-appropriate play with kids of all ages in order to further their joyous and healthy development.
