About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria , and I am a student-athlete at the University of South Carolina. I am an enthusiastic, friendly, and hardworking person looking forward to the jobs ahead. My prior childcare experience includes 3 years of formally babysitting various families, with ages ranging from 1 year - 10 years old. I have worked with families with one child to four children, and before I started formal jobs, I watched my younger sibling for about five years! I love working with children, as evidenced by my additional jobs as a swim coach and swim instructor, because I love to get to know them on a deeper level and get to make a positive impact on them at such an early age. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I was a lifeguard for four years and a pool manager for two years. I also work at a research lab on campus! I am very much looking forward to meeting you and your kids!
