Hello, I'm a Child Development major who has worked with a couple of children and teens with autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome etc. I feel like one thing that's important when working with anyone is patience, and I feel very lucky on how much patience I have, because at the end of the day people with disabilities are just like us, except with a little less ease of dealing with others. I'm confident enough to work with any case and happy and excited to meet new people.
