I have worked with children with special needs for the past 12 years. I have worked for the DOE as a paraprofessional for the last 6 years, working one on one with students, making the right accommodations and modifications for their needs and wants. I believe in giving every child a chance and showing them what they are capable of. I also believe in treating children with learning differences with the same love and respect as any other person. When working one on one, their true identity shines, and getting to them for them is really just beautiful. I aim to help them be the best they can be, and their best is just right! Seeing their face light up and seeing them exciting about achieving a new goal or interest is so rewarding. Working with unique children is something I hav always held dear to my hear. I am certified in OG training, as well as CPR certified. Additionally, I speak Spanish, which is another great way to connect with children, as learning a new language.
