About Mariah

I am a lifelong animal lover- somewhere in my photo albums is a picture of 2-year-old me hugging a baby goat at a petting zoo! I would be honored to share the love with your animal friends while you're out of town, or just give them an extra snuggle if you're out of the house all day! I have experience in my own home with dogs, cats, snakes, geckos, lizards, hamsters, mice and fish. I have also cared for tarantulas and rabbits. My experience with animals includes 11 years of involvement with the Monterey Bay Aquarium's youth programs. As a teenager I assisted the animal husbandry team in their discovery lab. For two years, this included weekly visits to clean the small and medium sized tanks in their classroom, as well as preparing food for all inhabitants. We were also tasked with creating educational presentations to promote the conservation of these amazing species! Let me know if you've got any questions!
