A little over a year ago, I was lucky enough to acquire a job working with adults with disabilities. I discovered that although my job was to assist them in living a fulfilling life, they were equally fulfilling mine. During my time there, I provided toileting, hygiene, cooking, feeding, and community engagement services. Since then I have also worked with children with disabilities and hope to work with this population in the future!
