About Mariah

I tutored two children in their home school studies. Helping them with subjects such as math, English, history, spelling, reading, etc. I would also try to incorporate nature with their homework, such as going on hikes and having them sketch their surroundings and reading/drawing outside. Personally, I love history and is by far my favorite subject to help a child grow in. I also like to incorporate lap books and crafts to help solidify the learning. I am currently a special ed tutor for a child who is on the autism spectrum. I work daily with him to help develop his vocabulary, communicating and picturing skills. I also work with him during the summer where we incorporate history, science, art projects and day trips into his schedule. Please feel free to contact me, I would love to hear from you!
