About Mariah

I developed my passion for caregiving during my previous babysitting roles and from there, decided to pursue a career in childcare. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. I've been working as a childcare provider for the past five years, caring for children of all ages. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I believe that communication is key, so I make sure to keep parents updated on their child's day, both verbally and in writing. I'm also happy to follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I love playing games with children, both educational and recreational. Some of my favorites include playing outside, board games, and puzzles. I'm also a certified swimming instructor and would love to teach your children how to swim! I have some college education, as well as coursework in early childhood development.
