About Mariah

We first met Mariah through a local childcare center, where she was a caregiver for our kids. Mariah developed instant connections with our boys and has cared for them since my youngest was 10 weeks old...guiding them and helping them to grow through the toddler, preschool and elementary years. Even as my oldest navigated middle school and has now entered high school, she still continues to be a trusted mentor to him. Beyond caring for our kids in the daycare and summer camp settings, she became our go-to provider when we needed someone to watch the boys in our home (our extended family is not local and Mariah quickly became part of our local, chosen family!) and served as our summer nanny on both a part-time and full-time basis. She has poured unconditional love into our boys for over a decade. Mariah has a way of making the everyday magical, and the kids always look forward to any time they get to spend with her (even at the age of 14!). She is full of creativity and adventure and does a tremendous job filling days with fun -- from backyard play....to rainy day activities...to incorporating lessons and learning...to planning more elaborate excursions and local exploration. Mariah does a remarkable job connecting with kids, while establishing structure and maintaining open communication with parents. She is genuine, reliable, enthusiastic and completely trustworthy. We are forever grateful with the part she has played in our boys' childhoods and whole heartedly recommend Mariah as a caregiver.
