About Mariah

I'm Mariah, a dedicated and experienced childcare provider with over 15 years of working with children in various settings. My journey began as a volunteer in early childhood programs throughout middle and high school, where I discovered my passion for child development. Since then, I have worked as a nanny, public school substitute teacher, forest school facilitator, and the founder of Palmetto + Pine Arts and Learning Community, a nature-based homeschool enrichment program. These experiences have given me a well-rounded approach to childcare, blending creativity, education, and play. I have cared for children ranging from newborns to preteens, often being a family's first caregiver, something I consider an honor. I strive to create a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel safe, nurtured, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
