About Maria

Hello, my name is Maria H. I am available to care for ages 0+. I have my PA clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Criminal History. I started caring for children when I was 14. I first babysat my nieces and nephews. As our family grew, my mother went on to start a home care center. I gained child caring experience by working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. I completed my high school community engagement hours at the Boys & Girls Club as a tutor. I provide homework assistance to elementary school students in the after school program. I expanded my child care knowledge by completing Child and Family college courses. I worked as a Spanish teacher in a language immersion preschool. I was responsible for children aged 18 months to 3 years. I am now a mother of 4: 14, 10, 3, and 1. My parenthood journey has taught me even more about caring for children.
