About Maria

I've been caring for children for the past year, with experience ranging from infants to preteens. I'm completing my last year of high school. I also completed a five-month program working with elementary school students. I'm fluent in Portuguese, with intermediate English and basic Spanish skills. My patient and calm demeanor, along with my creativity and friendly approach, make me a great fit for childcare. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents regularly about their child's progress and any issues that may arise. I prefer to follow the parents' preferred communication method, whether that be through text or phone calls. I love playing all sorts of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. I know how to cleaning and cooking.
