About Maria

I am listed as both a childcare provider and a senior caretaker. I am a mother of one daughter. I've taken care of children my entire life. I have 11 nieces and nephews! I worked with three families in childcare. I took care of a woman with Alzheimer's, and an elderly gentleman. I cared for both of my parents. My mother suffered from Alzheimer's and my father had a stroke. I would love to be a companion to a senior, helping them with their daily needs, whether it be a ride to the grocery store, visit to the doctor, cooking a meal, light housekeeping, reading with them, or just talking. I do not do bathing, physical care in the bathroom, or lifting, I also advocated for a sister with Downs Syndrome. I will bring compassion, care, creativity, and love into the home of a senior in need, or with childcare. My previous professional background is as an administrative assistant in the legal field. I am also a published author and artist. I love to cook, bake,- all things, domesticated.
