About Maria

I am a mom to one daughter. I also spent my life caring for my nieces, nephews, and now my great nieces and nephews. Over the years I have been a nanny for three separate families with children ranging from 17 months to 11 years old. Additionally, I grew-up with a sister that had Down Syndrome and it made me a more patient, compassionate and sensitive person. I am comfortable with children with learning disabilities. I began work as a nanny later in life. I worked as a legal administrative assistant for 18+ years as well as, in sales and real estate. I write poetry and have published three books. I am an energetic and fun person. I am a good cook and baker. I am also available for senior care as a companion. Again, I have personal and professional experience. I hope that this brief profile will indicate my traits of responsibility, creativity, energy, enthusiasm, compassion, caring, and love.
