About Maria

Hi! I'm Maria, and I'm the oldest of five siblings, so taking care of kids has been a big part of my life from the start. I've helped raise three of my younger siblings since they were little, which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and how to handle just about any situation. One of my brothers has autism, which has also taught me a lot about children with special needs, although I'm aware all children are different! I love outdoor activities and staying active, and I'm always up for games, adventures, or just spending time outside. I aim to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for every child I care for! I believe in open and effective communication with parents, ensuring that they're regularly updated on their child's day and any matters that arise. I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children and have taken CPR course 4 years in a row in high school have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets. I speak both English and Spanish.
