I have 4 years of experience, I've been a nanny before and I have worked at after school programs, and even as a paraprofessional at high school and elementary level. I went to college for Surgical Technology so I have a bit of a medical background, however I have decided to go back to school and get another degree. love getting to work with kids of any age. I have been with a family that has two babies, D is 18 months and S is 3 months old. I don't work full time only when the parents go to work. I can help with anything needed. And if I don't know something I am always happy to learn and adapt to the situation. I love kids and have a huge interest in assistant work! I used to work under the head of Special Education at the high school, and did a lot of side tasks, as well as planning events that happened for our district. Maria came to us at a very trying time and was exceptional. Our nanny, her aunt Carol, had to go on maternity leave and we were so concerned about not only having childcare, but having someone we could trust. Maria swooped in with all the right kind of energy, dependability and know how that we could possibly want. She was with us for over a year and I don't think I missed a day. She was someone we could always rely on. Put in extra time in a pinch. And was incredibly engaged and supportive of both of our children.
