Maria is a dear friend of mine. She has served children in our church for years and has also helped me with my own children. She is gentle, approachable, engaging, thoughtful and intuitive. She is natural at understanding a child and what he/she needs and how to care for a child in each situation. She loves to come alongside a child and participate in what they are doing and also provide gentle instruction and guidance. Maria is gifted with caring for older adults and adults with special needs. She is easy to talk to and willing to give and serve in any way that is needed. She treats others with value and dignity and honor. She gives attention to detail and is not rushed or hurried in her work. She has had hours and hours of experience caring for all kinds of people. She is a treasure!
