Hello. My name is Maria. I live in Dallas, Texas. I am a responsible, capable, nurturing, and reliable caregiver seeking a job close to my home. I've worked in child care for 15 years in the daycare setting and have extensive experience as a 9 years nanny in the home for all ages. I am CPR certified and enjoy creating plans utilizing arts and crafts.

Maria (or Mimi, as our girls lovingly call her) has been our full-time nanny since our identical twin girls were just over one year old, and she has been an extraordinary part of our family ever since. She’s been there through some of the most important moments in their lives—watching their first steps, hearing their first real words, and now helping them find the courage to ride their bikes and climb the rock wall at gymnastics. From the very beginning, Mimi stood out in every way. Her demeanor is calm and professional, yet she has a natural ability to connect with toddlers on an emotional level. Our girls took to her instantly, and they’re now inseparable. Mimi is exceptional at keeping them engaged. She plans weekly outings to the library, gymnastics, the Arboretum, museums, and aquariums. She even researches free activities nearby, like story time at the Lakewood Library or puppet shows at the mall, which we love. At home, Mimi keeps the girls busy with activities like painting, chalk art, and walks, never resorting to screen time. She’s also teaching them colors, numbers, and words in both English and Spanish. We initially worried about socialization, but Mimi has exceeded all expectations. She’s personable and caring, helping the girls make friends with other toddlers and often arranging playdates with neighborhood kids. Mimi’s focus is always on the girls, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about their safety and happiness. She is never distracted—she’s that rare nanny who is fully present and attentive, even keeping an eye on other kids at the park when their caregivers are occupied. Mimi goes above and beyond for our family in so many ways. She handles the girls’ meal planning and cooking, and she’s always willing to pick up groceries if we need it. She even cares for our two dogs as part of the family, showing them the same warmth and attention she gives our girls. Mimi has truly become a part of our lives. We trust her completely, whether we’re out for a night or out of town. Knowing that our girls are safe, loved, and happy with her brings us so much peace of mind. Sadly, we have to relocate out of Dallas due to my job, and leaving Mimi behind is truly difficult for us. If it were possible, we would take her with us, but her roots are here with her family. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her as a nanny. She is, in every sense, one of a kind, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
