I spent the next 18 years being a stay-at-home mom and volunteering at school and church with children of all ages. I am nurturing, patient, kind and creative. I love spending time with children and helping them develop into the delightful little beings they are meant to be. Brief synopsis of childcare work since my daughter graduated from high school in 2020: September 2020 to June 2021: Home-schooled a kindergartner and a 2nd grader from a classroom I created in my home. My students had a great year and were more than prepared to return to school in the fall. August 2021 to June 2022: Worked as an Instructional Assistant in the gifted first-grade class at Chestnut Hill Elementary in Bellevue. April 2023 - April 2024: Nanny for a sweet girl who was 6 months old when I started.

Maria has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. With her wealth of childcare experience, she took care of our little one from an infant and made our first-time parenting journey so much smoother. She just knew what to do, I learnt a lot (still do) about how to care for my child. Our toddler now happily tries new foods and our daughter always asks for her, which really shows the wonderful bond they've built. Trusting someone with your child is one of the hardest things a parent can do, and Maria is one of those rare, special people you know in your heart you can completely trust.
