I have been working with children for the last 16 years. In the last few years I have had the privilege to work with children/adults with special needs and have a step child with special needs as well. I believe we all have different talents that come as second nature to us and mine is being around special needs people. I have learned from them about loving unconditionally and being patient, to giggle and laugh without inhibitions. I contribute to them my consistency, structure and above all love and respect for who they are. I appreciate that there are no hidden agendas in the love they give and we can totally relax and be at peace with one another..

Our family has known Maria for 8 years. She has given care to our son with special needs (autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, intellectual disability, developmental disabilities, reactive attachment disorder, fetal alcohol effect) during the time we have known her. He absolutely adores her. She has a way of reaching his soul. Maria is one of the most lovely people I've ever had the pleasure to know. I trust her with my own child and highly recommend her to anyone seeking care for their children with special needs.
