Over the past 18 years, I have childcare experience as a nanny, daycare worker, preK teacher, associate instructor, and long term substitute for grades PK/4th/5th. During my first year of teaching, I worked as a nanny for a family of two boys, 6 and 9 years old. Also for 5 years prior to teaching, I worked in multiple age rooms, 3 months to 9 years old, at a daycare in Avon. Also I cared for an 8-year-old boy and transported him to and from camp, made breakfast/lunch/snacks, tutored him on math and language arts, and brought him to and from doctor appointments and classes. I am very experienced when it comes to routines, behavior management, educational activities, creative and fun activities, promoting proper hygiene and manners/etiquette, and consistent communication. Maria is a sweet-natured, responsible nanny. She was after-school nanny for my girls for a year. Her good education background shows through the way she deals with the kids. I trusted her to drive my kids home from the bus stop and sometimes to classes, and never regretted it. She will always go the extra mile for whatever kids need when parents are not around. I would definitely hire her again and would strongly recommend her for young kids.
