About Maria

Childcare is a long-standing passion for me, and my experience is extensive. I babysat throughout my teens until I started working at a local daycare center, where I ran camps and provided childcare for three years. While earning my bachelor's degree in psychology at Stonehill College, I interned under the guidance counselor in local middle school. I worked at Bradley Hospital during college and for several years post-grad as a therapist for kids aged 5-18, in the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center. Since then, I've worked at a school for children with Level 3 autism, taught yoga for kids, and mindfulness in middle and high schools. As a master of social work student at UNH, I'm seeking some part time work to pay my way through school. You may notice a negative review on my profile.
