About Maria

Hi, My name is Maria. I am a TELF Certified tutor. I have experience teaching English to students from various backgrounds. I hold a TEFL certification with Teacher Record. My teaching journey began while volunteering at an elementary school assisting advanced kindergarten children with their 'sight words' where I discovered my love for helping others improve their language skills. I also taught at the adult level online, focusing on creating a communicative and engaging learning environment. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable and practical, so I incorporated real-world topics and activities into my lessons. In my spare time, I love exploring new recipes and baking in the kitchen.
