About Maria

With over a decade of experience in education, I've been tutoring since 2010 in various settings including after-school programs, private one-on-one sessions, and teaching English online to children in China. I have a deep passion for working with children and creating a supportive, engaging learning environment where they can thrive. Helping students build confidence and reach their potential is what I love most about tutoring. I'd describe my personality as Friendly, supportive, and optimistic. I like tutoring because I love seeing the joy in students once they get it! Nothing makes me more proud than seeing them proud of their own achievements. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, watch movies and go out for some fun! One thing you should know about me is I love what I do and I work hard so we can all achieve our goals as a team. My skills include strong communication skills, patience and encouragement.
