About Maria

Hi there! I am Maria and I'm excited to connect with you! Eight years I moved from Costa Rica to the USA through an exchange program where I lived in VA with my host family and helped raise their twins from when they were 7years old until they were 14. In VA I also was able to help other families in my community in various ways. I helped with school pick up, afterschool activities, tutoring Spanish, and general baby sitting. When it comes to children care, I'm all about fostering creativity, exploration, and most importantly fun! Whether we're crafting, exploring outdoors, or diving into games, I love to find activities unique to each child's interests and developmental stage. So, whether you need part time assistance with your children afterschool, during a date night, appointments or just while you run errands, I am committed to bring positivity, reliability and genuine care to every interaction.
