We extended an offer to Maria to take care of our 5 month old. She accepted the offer and we were so excited about her joining us. She was responsive up until the day she was supposed to start. On starting day she just never showed up and dropped all communication like an off switch. She wouldn't return my calls or answer my text messages. I was worried something might have happened but she has read receipts on her text messages so it was clear she just ghosted us. It left us in a really hard position because we both work full time. I do not recommend Maria.
