I currently work as a behavior specialist at an elementary school. Was planning on starting grad school for counseling but currently those plans are on hold. I've nannied for a family for the past 4 yrs can provide references. Kids ranged from 3 yr old twins, 8 yr old girl and 10 yr old boy. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, I'd be open to some jobs now on weekends on occasion. However looking primarily for summer when I'm off from teaching. (special ed) In the summer Im open to a few weekdays mornings/afternoons 3-4 days a week. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog, do yoga, go see live music, read, learn new things, art. I like to be consistent & follow through it's generally what works best for kids & helps keep them regulated, schedules are important. My skills include coregulating w/kids when they are having a hard time, considering sensory needs when there are new experiences, validating big feelings when emotional moments happen
