With a Master's in Social Work and experience gained during my time at the San Diego VA, where I observed hospice and palliative care as well as mental health treatment programsI've developed a deep understanding of senior needs. I'm compassionate, dedicated, and patient, focusing on providing dignity and respect. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, staying active with CrossFit, hiking, cooking new recipes, and finding great coffee shops. My top skills in senior care are empathy and communication, ensuring that I listen, connect, and collaborate with families and healthcare teams to provide the best care possible.

Maria was an incredible support to our family during the last year of my father's life. He battled pancreatic, lung, and liver cancer, and Maria’s background with in-home care and hospice care proved invaluable in navigating the complex healthcare system. She helped us apply for IHSS and made sure my father attended all of his appointments. Her empathy was unmatched, and her patience was a comfort to our entire family, easing a very difficult time. Nothing seemed to phase Maria, she faced every challenge with calm, grace, and determination. She was always well-informed, and she kept us updated with photos of my father throughout the day. With my mother unable to care for him on her own, Maria stepped in like family, offering unwavering support. Even after my father passed four years ago, we’ve stayed in touch. Maria is an honest, extraordinary person with a heart of gold. She will always be a cherished part of our lives.
