About Maria

Hello, my name is Maria and I'm an art student at The University of North Texas in my junior year. I love doing all sorts of crafts, drawing, and reading. I was heavily involved in my brother's care since my parents worked very long shifts when I was younger, and have experience caring for children from infancy and up since I frequently played the neighborhood babysitter. I'm very passionate about taking care of others and building a compassionate and joyful environment for children to thrive in! I'm also actively working towards entering the world of substitute teaching so I can be involved in supporting the education system while completing my own. I'm looking for a part-time position and my rate starts at $16 per hour for one child. I can help with homework, reading and writing, hygiene, cooking/meal prep, and basic household chores.
