About Margaret

I'm Margaret. I love children and work in pediatrics at a well respected hospital in Oregon. I've been an occupational therapist for 16+ years and absolutely love my work. I'm currently looking to pick up some child care jobs, to help out my family, while still working full time at the children's hospital. I've been in pediatrics since 2007 working with kids ranging from 0-21 years, with a wide range of interests, abilities, parenting styles and priorities, developmental needs, communication, medical diagnoses, etc. I hope to never stop learning and growing myself. I also have two elementary school aged girls of my own who I absolutely adore. I attended a Waldorf school my whole childhood and greatly value all that Waldorf philosophy has to offer, including the importance of play and reverence for nature. When caring for your children, your needs and values matter most, and I will try hard to understand what is important to you so I can be supportive to your family.
