I've found childcare to be one of my most natural skills in life. I treat children just like I treat adults-- with the respect! I believe kids are often talked down to or feel like they don't have a voice, but I think it's so important to nurture, respect, and listen to kids so that they in turn learn how to reciprocate that behavior. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, kind, and trustworthy. I like working with kids because they have a unique perspective of the world (generally speaking), one that is often full of curiosity and and an eagerness to learn. I'm looking for a job that provides me stability, connection with good people. I started working with kids when I was a teenager as a babysitter. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, hike, travel, make ceramics, go to concerts, and hang out with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable! My skills include patience, creative problem solving, and balancing a routine with having fun.
