About Margaret

I like caring for seniors because I grew up around older people- I have an affinity for them. I started caring for seniors when I retired from my career as an educator. I began as a caregiver to a wonderful doctor. Doc taught me so much that I have utilized in my caregiving. In my spare time, I like to be with my granddaughter, read, gardening and art. I like to listen. I am not intrusive yet I do enjoy hearing about people's lives. I have experience with post-op, Hospice patients. Experience with Hoyer lifts, transfer boards, Diabetes mngt. I've taken many classes/workshops on Alzheimer's, Dementia care. Worked with wound care. I am more than happy to agree to any type of background check, answer any/all questions. I empathize with people who are seeking care for their loved ones as I, too have been in that situation.
