Hello! My name is Margaret and I have a few years of experience working with children with special needs. I nannied for a family with a son who had severe behavioral issues and mood swings and I took him to various activities as well as therapy. I also nannied for a family with 12-year-old triplets who were born premature and all had varying special needs. One son had cerebral palsy and was completely nonverbal and required full help with bathing, dressing, feeding, walking, and other types of therapy. Another son was on the autism spectrum and I actually homeschooled him for a semester as he had been taken out of public school for bullying and then tutored him and helped structure activities for him the next semester. I have also worked at a school for children with severe autism and taught lessons using ABA techniques. I love kids and being active with them! I also worked for a summer camp for the past eight years and have held other nanny positions. Thanks!
