About Margaret

Hi! My name is Maggie! I have my BS in early childhood education from Penn State. I've worked with children for 10 years-4 in daycare- 6 in elementary schools teaching kindergarten. I've always loved working with kids. Everyday is truly an adventure. I'm a very active person and I love to plan activities! I love crafts, time outside, cooking, and teaching new skills! I always take children's interests into consideration. I teach guitar and sewing lessons and would love to teach older kids who have an interest in those! I also love to crochet, embroider, and cook and would love to share those with kids too! I don't do screen time, but I like to keep us busy, so that it's not even missed! I would love to help kids with readiness for kindergarten, and other learning opportunities! I do have a 10-month-old. I have to take her with me, and I understand if that doesn't work for your family. She's used to being with me for tutoring, and guitar lessons already, and she's very easygoing!
