Hi! I am currently a private nanny in the Daniel Island area and have been with an amazing family full-time for the past 2 years. The family plans to enroll in preschool next year and are on a waitlist for 9-12 months. In the meantime, I am actively searching/interviewing for my next family to begin in 2024! Prior to this position, I worked as a Montessori preschool teacher in the 3-5-year-old classroom and private nanny for 3 years prior to my transition into the classroom. I have 8+ years of experience with newborns, toddlers, and children up to 15 years old. I enjoy hands-on learning, exploring the community, and anything arts/crafts. As a caregiver, I follow a Montessori/gentle approach with an emphasis on ECE curriculum. I am Infant and Adult CPR/First Aid certified and have safe, reliable transportation. I am looking for a long-term contract, established payroll, and traditional annual benefits. Bittersweet transition, but very excited to connect with my next potential family! :)

Maggie is a pro, completely unflappable, able to handle anything and jump into help wherever needed. Maggie is warm and fun but firm with limits and keeps kids on the right track. My kids love her and now that we have outgrown a nanny at home we'll transition to babysitting once in a while to get our Maggie fix.
