About Margaret

I am a Grandmother who is youthful, energetic, reliable, responsible, and I love caring for children. I recently moved to Idaho to be near my children and grandchildren. I raised my three children who are each now grown successful adults. I worked as an elementary school instructional and library aide as well as a support teacher for students in need of extra attention academically. I also worked at the community center as a child care provider for children of all ages. I am a certified alternative healer, with a focus on brain balancing for better cognition. I know how to keep a house, create nutritious meals and help with homework. I have excellent time management skills and will get your children to and from their activities on time. I am CPR trained. Under my care your child' s safety would be paramount but with that in mind my focus would be on playful interaction, and intellectual stimulation. Can' t wait to meet you!

We feel extremely lucky that we had Margaret in our lives for 2 years. She was a blessing and it was a sad day when she told us she was moving out West to be closer to family. Not a week goes by where we don't have a beautiful memory. Margaret is kind, warm and loving. She has so much wisdom from years of experience with her own children, grandchildren as well as others she taught. She is patient and great with those "teachable moments". I still call her for parenting advice! She helped prepare our son for Kindergarten, worked through potty training, calming techniques for anxiety and frustration and kept the kids active and engaged. She was even the baby whisperer with my nephew when he came to visit and one of the few people who could settle him. This doesn't even scratch the surface of the impact she made our lives. Anyone who has the opportunity to have Margaret in their lives is lucky! I wish we lived closer as we would love to have her back.
