I am a 34-year-old college graduate (Columbia University) from Montclair, New Jersey. I was a live-in Au Pair in Vancouver, Canada for a family with a 1-year-old boy, a 2 1/2-year-old boy and their dog. I was responsible for meal preparation, feeding and cleanup, playing indoors and outdoors, teaching basic words, supervising drawing and crafts, potty training and diaper changing, administering medication (both boys suffered from eczema and dry skin), dressing and undressing, bath time, bedtime, taking care of the family dog, cleaning their toys in the playroom and their bedrooms. For the past 10 years, I have babysat children from 3 weeks old to 16 years old, multiples at once. I have been babysitting for my neighbor's kids since I was 13. For me, babysitting isn't really a job -- playing cards or making crafts is so much fun! I am CPR-certified and can do basic First Aid, if needed. I can drive automatic and stick shift. I have tons of references from families who love me-just ask!
