Hello! Since 2016, I have worked through Care. com taking care of elderly individuals who were in need of help with a variety of daily tasks, i. e., shopping, running errands, making meals, doing light housekeeping, offering companionship and providing transportation. In addition, if requested, I have accompanied the family member into their Doctor's appointment to ask questions, take notes, transcribe the notes and send them to you. I have worked with patients with dementia, bi-polar disease, depression, and Parkinson's. I am a transplant from Chicago who moved to Colorado in 2015 to be closer to my daughter and her family. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations. I worked for 30+ years in HR leadership positions.
