About Margaret

I am deeply committed to enriching the lives of all the people in my care. It is important to me to work towards enhancing the quality of life of all individuals. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. I strive to understand and research activities that are of interest to the people in my care. My experience includes: monitoring and filling prescription medications, organizing calendars, driving to medical appointments as well as social functions such as art shows, movies, shopping, and book club, long walks and playing tennis. I handle light laundry and prepare light meals. I help to stimulate their mental functions by playing different games like scrabble & cards. One thing which distinguishes me from other caregivers is that I provide, if applicable, written periodic detailed client/patient progress reports. In addition, I am an animal lover and would be comfortable with dogs in the home.
