About Margaret

I am a recently retired community college professor. While there, I taught English, including writing, literature, and ESL. Before my 30plus years teaching college students, I taught Spanish and French at private schools for several years. My bachelor's degree is in French and Spanish, and my master's degree is in English and ESL. I hold a RI certification in secondary education. I am an energetic teacher/tutor who will always try to make the subject matter as clear as possible, keeping the individual student's learning style in mind. Although I haven't worked as a "tutor" for a long time, I have always considered one-on-one interactions to be a strong point for me, whether in the classroom or during office hours. I now look forward to the opportunity of tutoring any student who could use some extra help.
