About Margaret

I love working with kids and people of all ages! The best reward is seeing others gain confidence in their mastery of a subject or with a job well done. My seven nieces and nephews have kept me very busy through the years! In addition, I worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art as a teachers assistant for ages 7-9. It was wonderful to witness the kids being inspired by works in the museum and then using that inspiration as a launching pad to discover their own creativity. In addition, I taught young adults graphics at Delaware Technical and Community College, and that was also rewarding as students gained confidence in their expression and mastery over graphics tools. As a tutor, I would be able to keep students on task and also round out each day with I would be able to keep students on task and also round out breaks each day with age appropriate enrichment activities that would alleviate boredom and keep learning fun.
